The IC Bruisers are a 100% FREE sports and wellness program for Iowa youth, ages 7 – 17.

That means:

• ALL children who participate in the roller derby program receive FREE skate equipment, FREE safety equipment, FREE insurance coverage
• There are no dues to participate
• ALL coaches and referees are strictly volunteer. There are NO PAID positions in the ICB

This is why your donations mean so much to us. When you donate to the ICB, you are helping kids not only learn how to roller skate competitively, but you’re also giving them:

• an environment to thrive in when they struggle to fit in else where
• an opportunity to learn vital life skills like communication, leadership, teamwork, problem solving, and sportsmanship
• an opportunity to grow personally by improving their self-esteem and confidence
• an opportunity to connect with like minded individuals who share a passion for skating and roller derby
• a healthy environment to grow in, both physically and mentally
